ISRAEL BUENAVENTURA
Owner and Founder of Professional Health and Safety Training
Israel Buenaventura is the founder, owner, and instructor of Professional Health and Safety Training (PHST). He has over 20 years of experience in the health and safety field and is a Board Certified Assisted Living Manager since 2002. Israel holds licenses and certifications from the American Safety and Health Institute. He is a Certified Nurse's Assistant and a Certified Assisted Living Manager. He is a Caregiver and CPR/First Aid Instructor, Prevention & Support Trainer, and Article 9 Instructor. In addition to his work with PHST, he also assists clients in preparing DHS requirements and documentation for licensing and compliance for Assisted Living Homes and Behavioral Home Residential Facilities.
Israel has successfully prepared candidates for written and skills State Board Certification. In addition, he has successfully resolved client deficiencies and non-compliance from DHS. Israel is also highly skilled in training owners to manage Assisted Living Homes and has successfully prepared Assisted Living Homes for DHS initial survey. He has an intense passion for ensuring behavioral health facilities and institutions work well.

RACHELLE PECSON
Owner and Co-Founder of RaRe Ventures LLC
Rachelle Pecson believes that behind every successful practice, is a knowledgeable business support team. With over 15 years of excellent customer service, effective conflict resolution, business leadership, operations, and management expertise; Rachelle is able to build a cohesive team that can take the overwhelming demands of the business from clinicians, so they can focus on providing excellent client care. She also works with health care providers to create quality assurance framework and best practices. She co-founded The Canadian Psychologists Network to support mental health clinicians with the management aspect of their counselling practice and improve the delivery of mental health services. Rachelle is also the Director/Co-Founder of the Centre for Mental Health and Addictions. A non-profit organization that believes that everyone is worthy of support for as long as they need it, with no cap on the number of sessions and population-specific requirements, on a free, low-cost, and sliding scale fee. In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Rachelle devotes her time to volunteering. She was the Charter President of the Lions Club International – Calgary Westwinds Chapter and currently serving as its Membership Chair. She has also supported the cause of KidSport Calgary since 2009 and is a volunteer for Beakerhead Creative Society supporting their mission to globally advance education in arts, science and engineering. Rachelle is passionate about working on projects geared towards mental health issues and accessibility.

REGINA HOLDENRIED
Owner and Co-Founder of RaRe Ventures LLC
Regina's Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology degree landed her a career as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Design Specialist in the Oil and Gas industry. She saw the difficulties of coping with job stress and problems that her coworkers experienced every feast and famine cycle in the EPCM industry while serving as an engineering consultant. This inspired her to redirect her focus on mental health and work-life balance. She co-founded The Canadian Psychologists Network to elevate the delivery of mental health services.
Regina has a long history in customer service, engineering projects, and business management and has learned the significance of communication, excellent client service, and collaboration. She feels that leaders in any organization have an obligation to establish an environment that encourages personal development and growth; creating a work family where everyone shares the same ideals so that clients may overcome challenges and achieve their objectives.
Regina Holdenried is a recipient of the Golden Beaker Award for 2016. She has been actively involved in various volunteer organizations, including Beakerhead and The Sharing Place, and was recently awarded the Lions Club International President's Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in carrying out the service mission of Lions Clubs International regarding mental health. Regina is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Mental Health and Addictions (The Centre) in Calgary, Alberta. She is a strong advocate for mental health awareness and works tirelessly to support those dealing with mental illness. Regina is working towards her Master of Counselling degree.
